Winter Maintenance

Water is preferable, but if there is no water available, this works fine for cleansing in the morning.

I prefer to wash with water in the morning. However, sometimes a proper wash with cleanser is needed, and this works well without setting my face on fire first thing in the morning.

Alternate every other day with evening retinol serums to avoid irritation.

Alternate with black snail cream. Not for any specific reason other than I like both and can't decide which I like more.

Alternate with skinfix moisturizer. Not for any specific reason other than I like both and can't decide which I like more.

Only really needed with prolonged sun exposure or for hiking in glacial areas with significantly higher uv index. Otherwise, some sun is beneficial in the northern latitudes.

To remove makeup or as a general cleanser when water is not available.

Can swap out with the CeraVe if face is feeling sensitive, but a good cleanse is still needed

Paint around eyes and corners of nostrils prior to other retinol serum application to avoid excessive irritation, but still benefit from retinol treatment. Alternate every other day with vitamin c serum to avoid irritation.

Apply to rest of face after application of The Ordinary retinol around eyes and corners of nostrils. Alternate avery other fay with vitamin c serum to avoid irritation.
