Description
iβm a white woman with a thick, wavy, frizzy, unruly, low porosity nightmare that is my head of hair. either 1C or 2A type, idk. only now do i feel any sort of motivation to finally begin caring for it properly.

β’ wash hair ONLY 1 or 2 times a week. yes, seriously β apparently this is ideal for my (thick, wavy, frizzy) type of hair.
β’ on non-wash days, refresh hair with continuous spray bottle filled with water. then reapply leave-in conditioner and hair oil.
β’ once a week, oil scalp and ends. massage with bamboo brush for 5 minutes, apply oil, massage with silicone massager for 5 minutes, put on cheap amazon shower cap, let it sit for about 3 hours.
β’ also apply Olaplex or Ouai hair mask once a week.
β’ try to use Inkey List scalp scrub at least once a week. maybe twice, depending on how often i wash my hair that week.

β’ do i need mousse or not? what about styling cream or hairspray or any other product? itβs so confusing!!
β’ i donβt even know how i want my hair to look. i want it to not be frizzy or greasy, thatβs all i know. straight hair is pretty! wavy hair is pretty! curly hair is pretty! IDK
β’ i canβt have a job right now because of my illness. if the government approves my request, iβm gonna strongly consider splurging on one of those fancy dyson tools.
β’ how much of a difference does a hairbrush make? try comparing my Tangle Teezer Ultimate Detangler and Unbrush Plus β see if either one delivers noticeably better results.
β’ how on earth can anyone have halfway decent looking hair WITHOUT the use of hot styling tools? mine will never look good without them :/
