About F.A. safe, non comed., alcohol free routine for sensitive skin <3

Description

UPDATE: using this routine for 6 months+, my acne breakouts are almost entirely gone, even my monthly PMS breakouts. My pores are clean, my skintone is evened out of post acne hyperpigmentation almost completely. My skin is moisturized, supple and it has a glow. I'm blown away by what consistency and less complicated routine did for me. Also, the right actives, which turned out to be azelaic acid, mixed into my moisturizer. Basically: my moisturizer+azelaic acid+consistency+gentle cleansing only in PM+LED mask.

I've been on a more deliberate skincare journey since winter 2023. I have:

  • acne prone skin; hormonal acne on jawline and just very easily clogged pores that lead to blackheads and CCs
  • sensitive and reactive
  • some sebderm around my nostrils and hairline (which is why I prefer FA safe products)
  • combination

My priority is that products are:

  • FA safe
  • non comedogenic
  • alcohol free and if possible free of other things on the checklist as well

I had been through a lot since winter 2023 skin wise; was prescribed tretinoin multiple times due to my hormonal acne and it worked at the beginning then I developed perioral dermatitis and retinol burn. I've put it aside for now, possibly forever.

But through this I arrived to the routine I have now and it's the best I ever had. Both my cleanser and moisturizer are my absolute holy grails. The moisturizer just keeps improving my skin.

I have added two things to combat my hormonal acne/hyperpigmentation/texture due to CCs/sensitivity:

  • azelaic acid serum
  • led mask

I use the led mask every other day and do red, orange, purple and blue light.

I am REALLY happy with my routine right now! I honestly enjoy doing it bc I see constant improvements.

For the bit of sebderm around my nostril (unrelated to tret, had that before) I heavily apply La roche posay Cicaplast Baume B5+ in the PM and it somehow keeps it under control.
