I like to keep my exact location out of my digital footprint 🌍 There's no SPF in my routine because I haven't found one yet that wouldn't irritate my sensitive skin, still searching. In the meantime when I go out I make do with my absolute HG Alima pure mineral foundation which doesn't officially have spf, but zinc oxide and titanium dioxide do offer protection I think around 25? (just comparing it to the Inika organics mineral foundation, but don't quote me on it) <3

My best ever skincare routine! I've been on a skincare journey from winter 2023. I have:
- acne prone skin
- sensitive and reactive
- some sebderm around my nostrils and hairline (which is why I prefer FA safe products)
- combination
I am currently on 0.025% gel tretinoin for hormonal jawline acne/texture/closed comedones purposes. I have used tretinoin before for 12 weeks but I had a pause in between because it was actually a prescription tretinoin with added clindamycin and you can only use it for 12 weeks to not develop a resistance. I had amazing results!
I'm now a month into tret again and I'm introducing it very slowly. Already seeing results, despite the flaking my skin is clearing up, evening out and glowing up slowly but surely.
I still change a thing here and there if I find an even more fitting product for me based on ingredients.
My priority is that products are:
- FA safe
- non comedogenic
- alcohol free and if possible free of other things on the checklist as well
! My tret gel has 2 ingredients that aren't FA safe but I haven't found tret that is FA safe so that's unfortunate. So far it hasn't caused any issues though - for minimizing the potential to cause troubles I wash my face in the morning after a night of tret. !
