This root is more commonly know as Siberian ginseng.

Siberian ginger is not technically a true gingseng. However, it has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Studies show its Phlorizin content may benefit skin. One study found Phlorizin to help promote collagen production by suppressing the enzyme that downregulates collagen.
