Baicalin is an active ingredient derived from the roots of Scutellaria baicalensis. It has skin conditioning and antioxidant properties.

This ingredient is also one part of the compound Vitasource. According to a manufacturer, Vitasource protects skin cells from aging by activating a gene that supports cellular renewal and longevity.
