Tracking Skincare Ingredients

Updated: June 14, 2023

Not all skincare ingredients are equal. If you’re an avid skincare fan, you might know this already.

Maybe you recently discovered an allergy. Or maybe you just don’t like the source of an ingredient. Either way, you might have a list of ingredients that don’t work for your skin or values!

(Or a list of ingredients your skin absolutely adores!)

This article will teach you tricks and tips on how to stay organized and track your skincare ingredients like a pro.

  • Why tracking ingredients matters
  • The benefits of tracking ingredients
  • Step by step on how to track ingredients

Easily Track Ingredients

Keeping tabs on these ingredients can be a hassle. Especially when browsing for new skincare products.

With hundreds of ingredients lists out there, all the text can start to feel like a crossword puzzle. Wait, did Product A have your favorite ingredient? Or was that Product B?

We built a feature for SkinSort users to track ingredients easily.

Setting your liked/disliked ingredients will help you save time (and prevent a headache) when looking at ingredients lists.

Benefits

And best of all? Once you set your ingredient preferences, this feature is everywhere on the site.

You’ll see these ingredients whether you are analyzing a list or looking at a product.

Need to compare two products? No worries, we will let you know if one contains one of your disliked ingredients!
