Jacob Laboissonniere

Hi! I'm Jacob, one of the co-founders of SkinSort.

I struggled a lot with acne growing up, which led me to develop an interest in skincare.

It took me years to find products that worked well for my skin. With SkinSort, I want to make that journey easier for others.

I'm passionate about removing the complexity surrounding skincare & cosmetic ingredients.

I love building tools that make it easier to get quick access to science-backed data on the ingredients in any product.

I mainly work on the software development side of things for SkinSort. I have a degree in Software Engineering from Carleton University, and have been coding for fun for over 10 years.

My other interests

I'm a big hiker and traveller. I love spending time in nature (with sunscreen on, of course!)

Most recently, my partner and I spent 9 days trekking through the Canadian Arctic. Such an incredible place!
