Morning
Gentle Cleanser
Hydrating Toner or Essence
Antioxidant Serum (like Vitamin C, if your skin tolerates it)
Moisturizer
Broad Spectrum SPF 30+ (non-negotiable if you use acids at night!)
Nightime
Cleanser β Use a gentle, non-stripping cleanser β No exfoliating cleansers (save that for your acid product!) Toner (Optional) β Only if it's hydrating and alcohol-free β Skip if you're using an acid for exfoliation Acid Product (like lactic or salicylic acid) β Apply to dry skin β Wait about 10-15 minutes before layering anything else to let it fully absorb and minimize irritation Serum (if needed) β Use something calming or hydrating (like hyaluronic acid or niacinamide) Moisturizer β Go for something soothing and barrier-repairing β Look for ceramides, squalane, or centella asiatica Facial Oil (optional) β Only if your skinβs extra dry and needs that extra cushion
