Epiduo is too drying despite skin being conditioned to it; flaky skin and wrinkles became more visible. The azelaic acid visibly reduced the erythema and prevented more breakouts. The ceramide gel was perfect for post-retinoid treatment day but on normal days it gave me an oily appearance. The essence works fine and absorbs quickly but no longer feels as hydrating as when I first tested it. The alternating between the two sunscreens was a clever move.
