About Daily Routine

Description

I have oily, acne-prone skin, but lately, I’ve noticed that my skin feels a bit tight. Because of this, I keep my routine balanced—focusing on hydration, brightening, and barrier support while addressing post-acne marks.

Morning Routine (AM) My morning skincare is simple and minimal since I work from home and don’t feel the need for a morning cleanse. I skip a cleanser and go straight into three essential steps:

Essence – for lightweight hydration and skin prep. Brightening Serum – to target dark spots, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), and post-inflammatory erythema (PIE). Sunscreen – the most important step to protect my skin and maintain results.

Evening Routine (PM) At night, my focus shifts to repairing my skin barrier, hydrating, and fading post-acne marks. I alternate between two moisturizers depending on my skin’s needs:

INSTREE Aqua Cream – when I want lightweight hydration. COSRX Propolis Cream – when I need extra nourishment and soothing. Sometimes, I even layer both for a balance of hydration and moisture.

This routine helps me maintain healthy, balanced skin while addressing the concerns left by my recent bout of hormonal acne.
