About Winter Routine 23/24

Description

ROUTINE DESIGN. This routine is made for winter season. It's almost the same for summer except for the moisturizer. I also use different sunscreen depending on the season. Summer sunscreen is more thick and water resistant.

I have to make some changes on this routine: -I don't like that the rice sunscreen has polyacrilate in it.

I'm doing just the pm routine, but if I'm going outside then I do the am routine too. But I usually stay at home so I let all the creams stay on my face for 24 hours. ** Need changing?

It's bad to overdo the skincare routine. So it's better to only cleanse with a gentle cleanser once a day, and splash water in the morning if needed.

Everyday I use one different serum so they are always rotating.

PRODUCTS. I think is better to apply snail mucin essence first and then the serums in order to obtain this essence benefits, but I'm not sure. It's also a good humectant.

My holy grail in winter is Cicaplast Baume. Cicaplast has 48 hours of hydration. It is perfect occlusive for my sensitive, acne prone skin. Its even better in cold months or when using active ingredients, when skin tends to be in the drier side and more fragile. So it needs a cream that restores its barrier. It doesn't make my acne worse. It makes my skin glow. I have never had my acne controlled like now, so I guess I had damaged skin barrier in the past. Now that my barrier is cured (after weeks using cicaplast daily) it's difficult to see acne.

ACTIVES. Active ingredients that I love and use in my routines: Retinol (anti-aging), vitamin c or ascorbid acid (luminosity and boosting sunscreen), ahas as lactic acid (exfoliating sensitive skin), niacinamide (fading dark spots and fighting acne).

CRITERIA. I always use no comedogenic, no fragrance etc products. I try not to use products that contains fragrances and acrylates or any other ingredient that has been proven to be harmful for the skin or body. I also dont use products that have acne triggers.
