Surprise! After not putting *anything* on my skin for decades (no makeup, no moisturizer, rare SPF, rare face cleansing) I decide to start "doing something" for my skin and I realize that my skin hasn't had blemishes or acne because I never put anything on it that caused it! Now, after my first round of products caused itchy red bumps for the first time in my life (oh, this is that yeast stuff that sometimes gives me ringworm in the winter???), I'm trying to find a base cleansing and mousturizing routine that doesn't make me itch. Then I can hopefully add actives to (cross fingers) and reduce pores, calm redness, slow wrinkles and retain firmness as long as I can.
