I'm Ashley. I'm 31 years old. My pronouns are she/they. I have combination skin, compounded by hypersensitivity and reactivity. Add in eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, possible rosacea to the mix, and you can see why finding products that are safe for my skin has been a huge challenge! I also have a history of hormonal acne; it cleared up on its own once I hit my mid-to-late 20s, after trying almost every OTC and RX product under the sun.

Thanks to this wonderful website, I've been able to pinpoint my sensitivity triggers: fragrances, alcohols, dyes, parabens, and other preservatives. This leaves the number of products I can safely use on my face pretty low; however, they do exist, and they actually help my skin as opposed to damaging it further. When I'm not obsessively researching skincare products, I enjoy reading, swimming, gaming, meditating, and journaling.

Budget-friendly products for hypersensitive skin. These products are ultra-gentle and free of any fragrances, preservatives, etc. These are geared more towards dry skin but may be used on all skin types! When in doubt, PATCH TEST FIRST, and keep the number of products used to a minimum, if possible. Less is more with hypersensitive, reactive skin.
