About current routine ❤️

ideally this would be a daily routine, but sometimes i fall asleep too early. this will be updated continuously as i try new products (including free samples).

a few miscellaneous products that are integral to my skincare routine:
measuring spoons - i own three that i keep in my bathroom to be used exclusively for certain skincare products (especially sunscreen)
rotating skincare organizer - i’ve had the same one since i was 15 or 16. i use it to store my most commonly used products (lesser used ones go in one of my bathroom drawers).

several guidelines i’ve set for my routine:
• a limit on products containing fragrance. only a few are permitted at a time.
• limit to 2 products with dimethicone as one of the top ingredients - too many products with lots of dimethicone, and the pilling ensues
• there are some days where i deal with poor mental/physical health and don’t feel like doing anything. but on these days, i will AT LEAST try to apply sunscreen. probably a crappy SPF with a white cast if i have one on hand.
• if the product smells like play-doh, throw it out. (thankfully this almost never happens)
• if i’m not wearing makeup or actively eating/drinking, i should probably be wearing lip balm.
• i have come a long way; i used to have pretty severe acne and i had to go on accutane. but when i had my last job, i got near-daily compliments on my ‘beautiful’ skin.
