The serums did help to reduce my acne but after I started using the retinoid I had to incorporate the purito centella serum into my routine to calm the irritation. Since then, my skin has experienced stinging whenever I use the Purito moisturiser and Centella sunscreen. During this time I also experimented with double cleansing and it did not work for me as the oil cleanser was too irritating for my skin and the milk cleanser left a weird film texture on my skin. I was using the tranexamic acid serum inconsistently and it failed to yield any results. Ultimately this routine felt like an overkill of actives and did damage to my skin barrier
