• Pause strong actives (retinol, glycolic, salicylic, lactic, vitamin C L-AA)
→ 7 days before and after
• Pause weak actives (azelaic, niacinamide, urea)
→ 5 days before and after

Shaving
• Pause strong actives
→ 3 days before (except retinol = 5 days)
• Pause weak actives
→ 2 days before
• Pause all actives after shaving
→ 2 days after (except retinol = 3 days)
