So I messed up my skin in May when I still was using retinoids (should have paused earlier, maybe April). Seems reapplying sunscreen every two hours wasn't enough... I developed quite bad darks spots on my forehead and around my eye area but am managing to get rid of them with this brightening and soothing routine. Glad, that they're almost gone now.
Focus on Oryza sativa, niacinamide, vitamin C and other brightening ingredients. Most effective product: Pigmanorm®, prescribed by dermatologist. (Now I can skip the laser treatment - phew.) Unfortunately it also is very irritating and causes redness. Hence the other focus on soothing and regenerating ingredients as ceramides, Avena sativa, Houttuynia cordata and Artemisia vulgaris.
I will continue skin cycling as soon as I'm finished with the Pigmanorm® treatment.
