Description

Poly Hydroxy Acids (or PHAs) differ from AHAs and BHAs due to the difference in molecular structure.

PHAs are generally less irritating than their alpha and beta counterparts. Besides exfoliating dead skin cells, they act as a humectant.

All skin types should avoid over-exfoliating to prevent long-term damage to the skin.
