Description

Fungal Acne is different from hormonal or common acne because it is caused by a yeast (aka Fungus) that infects your skin follicles.

This yeast may already living on your skin and only becomes a problem when it gets of out control. Often times, fungal acne looks like many red bumps. It is more common to develop fungal acne on the body than the face. The medical term for this is 'Malassezia folliculitis'.

Some ways to treat fungal acne include wearing looser clothing, taking medication, cleanse your skin more often, and use special fungal acne treatments.
