Description

Beta Hydroxy Acids (or BHAs) are a type of hydroxy acid. All skin types should avoid over-exfoliating to prevent long-term damage to the skin.

BHAs are best used for fighting acne-causing bacteria and exfoliating dead skin cells. They can also help with decreasing inflammation, decreasing the appearance of large pores, improve skin texture, and even unclogging pores.

BHAs are found in willow bark, wintergreen leaves, and sweet birch bark. They are oil-soluble
